Oh my: The upsetting afternoon edition

Do you see this photo here, by the Post-Standard's Dennis Nett? Of course you do. You know those are cats. You're hoping that's not a closed window they're trying to get out.

But it is.

One-hundred sixty -- 160! -- cats were taken from a home in DeWitt recently after the occupant was forced to move someplace that didn't keep pets. The local SPCA had to euthanize 130 of them, and the other 30 are in isolation at a shelter, being treated for severe dehydration.

Shirley Thompson was charged with over 100 misdemeanor counts of improper confinement and failing to provide veterinary care, according to the Post.
