The thing that always keeps me from buying expensive apple gear is that they make a new one ever 2 weeks. Okay, maybe it spans longer than that, but having an ipad 2 when the ipad 3 comes out would just make my heart sink.

“Lamb” is perhaps my favorite Chris Moore book. I devoured it for the first time while on a no-so-busy night float rotation during residency. I think it only took me 3 nights to finish it. And the resident that lent it to me to read? Jewish.

I recommend The War of Art to all my clients. It’s an easy read that makes you think. The type of book you can open to any page and walk away with a golden nugget.

Pressfield, the author, writes this book with the writer in mind. Then again, any profession can benefit from the thoughts of Pressfield.

Sylvester Stallone wrote an exercise book several years ago. I saw him interviewed on Imus in the Morning while doing his book tour. He made an interesting comment. Remember how ripped Sly was in those Rocky and First Blood movies? He was obsessed with exercise. A physical fitness fanatic. In retrospect, Sly said he would have received as much benefit by doing less.

Mitch,

Serge has a similar sidekick in this one, just going by a different name. There’s a great reclusive author character, too. More plot turns than others I’ve read, and the story-telling is a bit more advanced.
