For the sake of a rules of engagement, here are a couple of notes.
Commenting. Obvious spam is automatically removed, and if it’s your first time posting a comment it will wait in a moderation queue. That said, things that won’t be tolerated include trolling, personal attacks against me or other subjects, and anonymous criticism of small businesses (I don’t care what you say about Domino’s pizza, but if you’re going to talk about bad service at a local cafe, put your real name and actual email address on it, give them a chance to make it right).
Connecting via social media. Twitter (@JoshShear) is the best way to contact me through social media. If you’re on LinkedIn (and you really should be), send me a personalized connection request if we don’t know each other, and I’ll accept (use joshuanshear@gmail.com as the email address). I’m around on Facebook, but it’s probably the slowest way to connect with me via social media.
